It is with great sadness we share our longtime friend and supporter, Ben Wright passed away on Sunday.  “Ben came into the life of Mobile Meals 27 years ago as Jack Robinson, founder of the Ben Wright International Challenge Cup began planning the ICC tournament. Ben was instrumental in helping us raise more than 7 million dollars to feed the neighbors of Spartanburg County. The couple opened their home to Mobile Meals donors many times through the years to help us raise funds. Ben and Helen will forever be an important part of this ministry”, said Jayne McQueen.

Ben and Helen attended the Ben Wright International Challenge Cup a few months ago as we celebrated the tournament’s 25th anniversary. The Mobile Meals family extends our deepest condolences to his lovely wife, Helen and family.
