The pandemic has had a profound effect on many community based organizations in various ways. For Mobile Meals we have been effected most by the loss of volunteers to deliver meals. During the 2020 COVID government shutdown we adjusted our delivery schedule. We currently serve two meals on every other weekday to 1200 recipients.

We announced several weeks ago our plan to return to delivery 5 days a week in mid-October. However, due to the increase in COVID cases and the loss of volunteers to deliver meals, we will continue our alternating day delivery schedule through the end of the year.

How can you help? Please contact Vivian or Paula at Mobile Meals (864) 573-7684 if you are willing to deliver meals. We ask that you help us recruit volunteers as we need 150 volunteers per delivery day. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
